The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business. This is a hands‑on role where you will play a key part in maintaining high service standards, driving revenue, and ensuring a positive and energetic environment for both customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Support the General Manager in the smooth daily operation of a high end gastro pub.
Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
Assist in driving sales, revenue, and event bookings.
Oversee floor operations, ensuring efficient and professional service.
Help manage and motivate the team to maintain a fun and productive atmosphere.
Coordinate and support private events in our function space.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene standards.
Staff training.
About You
Previous experience in an assistant management role within hospitality.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Passion for customer service and hospitality.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
A positive, hands‑on attitude with strong attention to detail.
