Role Purpose
The Part-Time Quality & Compliance Manager is responsible for maintaining, improving, and auditing the Integrated Management System (IMS), with a strong emphasis on ISO standards.
This role ensures all services—training, consultancy, and internal operations—are fully compliant, consistent, and aligned with ISO and regulatory requirements, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
ISO & Integrated Management System (IMS)
Maintain and continuously improve the IMS aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Ensure all policies, procedures, and documentation are current, controlled, and effectively implemented
Support ongoing certification and surveillance audits by external bodies
Manage document control systems and version control processes
Audit & Compliance
Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits across all business units
Coordinate and manage external ISO audits
Track non-conformances and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions
Maintain compliance with relevant accreditation and regulatory bodies (e.g., QQI, PHECC, IOSH, NEBOSH)
Quality Assurance in Training & Services
Oversee quality assurance processes across training and consultancy services
Monitor client feedback, evaluation results, and service quality metrics
Ensure consistent standards across classroom, on-site, and online delivery
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
Analyse audit findings, KPIs, and feedback to identify trends and opportunities
Support departments in implementing process improvements
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams across training, consultancy, and operations
Advise senior management on quality, compliance, and risk
Deliver guidance and awareness training on ISO standards and quality systems
A fully maintained, audit-ready IMS – this includes continuous improvement and maintenance of current system.
Successful ISO audit outcomes with minimal non-conformances
Documented and measurable continuous improvement initiatives
Strong quality performance indicators (e.g., customer satisfaction, compliance rates)
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing ISO-based management systems
Strong knowledge of:
ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 (desirable)
Experience conducting internal and external audits
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and document control
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Experience within EHS, consultancy, or training environments
Familiarity with accreditation bodies (QQI, PHECC, IOSH, NEBOSH)
Experience with CRM/LMS platforms (e.g., Zoho or similar systems)
