The Director of GMS and Change Communications is responsible for leading and partnering on internal and external communication activities. This position will report to the Head of Leadership and Colleague Communications and is responsible for overseeing GMS executive communications and providing strategic oversite over all GMS colleague communications in support of the Future GMS Transformation.

This colleague will serve as a member of the GMS leadership team and act as a key advisor to the EVP and President, Global Manufacturing & Supply to define and deliver an engaging global communications strategy. Key responsibilities include developing communication strategy and activities to build executive leadership, engage colleagues, and guide crisis communication and issues management within the GMS network.

This colleague will also oversee change management communications supporting major Zoetis transformations impacting teams and colleagues.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic support and council to the GMSLT around needed communications strategies and approaches

Partner with GMS leadership to drive communications, cultural transformation, and engagement strategies, while providing executive communications support to the EVP, President of GMS and members of the GMS executive team to ensure impactful, aligned messaging.

Develop and lead change management approach and support organizational change through focused communications that align with the needs of the leaders and teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

* 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or colleague engagement.
* Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide colleague communication strategies.
* Experience partnering with senior executives to drive strategic messaging and engagement.
* Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.
* Knowledge of internal communication platforms and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Beekeeper, Yammer, SharePoint, intranet CMS).
* Ability to manage and execute crisis communications in partnership with global security and HR teams.
* Experience working in a global organization or matrixed corporate environment.
* Strong understanding of employee engagement, organizational change management, and leadership communications.
* Familiarity with internal sentiment analysis, survey tools, and action planning.
* Proficiency in developing toolkits, templates, and best practice frameworks for leader activation.
* Experience designing communications strategies for frontline, non-desk-based, and contingent workforce engagement.
* Ability to lead communications strategy and execution, leveraging resources across Corporate Communications, HR, and business functions.
* Strong project management, relationship management, and execution skills.
* Ability to prioritize competing needs in a fast-paced environment and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders.
* Proven ability to lead through influence and counsel senior leaders on communication best practices.
* Strong analytical skills, using data to define strategy and measure impact.
* Ability to stay current on industry trends, Zoetis' employee experience, and external best practices.
