We are looking for an experienced Barista/Server to join the team in our team in Donnybrook.
Experience with specialty coffee and/or table service is essential. Experience with OpenTable is preferred. The quality of our coffee, toasties and brunch dishes are incredibly important, but a key part of what we do is the top quality service we show to every customer.
There will of course be lots of coffee training provided so that everyone can hone in on their skills and knowledge of what we are serving. We will also provide training for proper table service to ensure the quality of our service in maintained.... There will also be a lot of tasting as we test out new specials.
Main Responsibilities:
- Making coffees and ensuring the coffee is served quickly and at the best quality, training will be provided for this.
- Serving tables and making sure everyone is well looked after
- Opening and Closing procedures, helping clean and prepare the cafe for the guys opening up the next day.
- After sufficient training, you will be required to dial in the coffee in the morning and monitor it throughout the day.
- Ensuring the coffee machine and area is cleaned and perfectly ready for the next morning before leaving.
- Ensure the shelves are well stocked, being proactive on the slower periods to get these jobs ticked off is key.
