Réalta Technologies is searching for an Accounts Assistant with 1-3 years' experience in an accounting or finance support role. Prior experience in an engineering or technology company would be advantageous.
This role will be based on site in our offices in Ballincollig, Co. Cork.
Job Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices, supplier payments, and staff expense claims accurately and efficiently.
* Manage the sales invoicing process and ensure timely resolution of customer queries.
* Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
* Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
* Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to address and resolve financial queries.
* Provide general support to the Finance Lead across daily and monthly finance functions.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and other financial reports.
Job Requirements
* 1–3 years' experience in an accounting or finance support role. Prior experience in an engineering or technology company advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
* Good understanding of cost accounting and project-based finance.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
