Seeking a proactive and technically proficient Mid-Level Java Developer to join our dynamic FinTech team. This role requires a developer capable of contributing effectively to bothmicroservicesarchitectures and existing monolithic systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, a solid foundation in Java programming principles and object-oriented design, experience with common Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, a strong understanding of databases, SQL, experience with testing and automation, adherence to coding standards, and the ability to integrate quickly and make an immediate impact. This position involves developing, testing, and deploying robust applications in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Support production systems andparticipatein KTLO (KeepTheLights On) activities
* Design, develop, andmaintainJava applications, including both microservices and monolithic architectures.
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle (design, coding, testing, deployment).
* Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering toestablishedcoding standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Contribute to the design and development of RESTful APIs.
* Work withSQLdatabases,optimizequeries for performance, anddemonstratea strong understanding of database concepts.
* Utiliseversion control systems (Git) andparticipatein code reviews.
* Implement,understandand maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins/ArgoCD.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
* Mentor junior developers and share knowledge.
* Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.
Desirable Skills
* Strong foundationin Java programming principles and object-oriented design.
* Proven ability to work with common Java frameworks such as Spring or JEE.
* Proven ability to work with both microservices and monolithic applications.
* Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
* Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
* Proficiencyin designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
* Strong database skills and experience with data modeling.
* Familiarity withmicroservicesarchitecture.
* Experience with version control systems (Git).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts.
* Experience with testing frameworks and automation.
* Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
* Strong communicationand collaboration abilities.
* Ability to quickly learnnew technologiesand adapt to changing priorities.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 4-8 years of professional experience in Java development.
