Purchasing Assistant Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the procurement and supply chain management of food, beverage, consumables, and overheads.
Core Responsibilities:
* We are looking for a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing purchase orders, managing stock levels, and coordinating deliveries with suppliers.
* Key responsibilities include using the hotel's procurement system to prepare purchase orders, monitoring and maintaining stock levels, and resolving any discrepancies with suppliers.
* You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure secure and accurate distribution of deliveries, and maintain detailed records of all transactions.
* This role also involves organizing and rotating stock in storerooms as required, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Purchasing area, waste area, and front of house.
* In addition, you will be responsible for complying with Health & Safety standards and ensuring security protocols are followed, particularly in car park and delivery areas.
Requirements:
* We require a fluent English speaker, both written and spoken, who has basic Microsoft Office skills.
* The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* A strong communicator with attention to detail is essential for this role.
