Kevin Barry Motors Ltd. is a family-run premium used car dealership in Dublin 12. Established in 2002, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional after-sales service to our customers. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanic / Technician to join our busy service department.
This is a full-time, permanent role involving the preparation and servicing of vehicles for sale, as well as general maintenance and repairs for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Servicing & Repairs: Service, diagnose, and repair vehicles to the highest standards.
Preparation for Sale: Ensure all vehicles are fully prepared for sale in a timely manner.
Quality Control: Conduct road tests and quality checks to maintain consistent standards.
Customer Interaction: Communicate clearly with customers and management about vehicle issues and required repairs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work completed and warranty information.
Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure a safe and tidy workspace, adhering to workshop safety protocols.
Technical Updates: Stay informed on new technical developments and product information.
About You
We are looking for a fully qualified Senior Mechanic / Technician with the following:
Qualifications: Certified automotive technician with relevant experience (apprentices will not be considered).
Experience: Proven ability to deliver high-quality work efficiently. Main dealer experience is not required.
Skills:
Strong diagnostic and repair abilities.
Attention to detail in identifying additional repairs.
Excellent teamwork and independent working capabilities.
Licensing: Full, clean driver’s licence.
Customer Focus: Polite, professional, and committed to customer satisfaction.
