Reporting LeadThe RoleThe Reporting Lead will ensure that the reporting requirements of a variety of audiences are catered through our suite of reports, in a consistent, timely and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesDriven by business growth and expansion, the volume of available information has increased significantly. This newly created role will address the challenge of ensuring that accurate, relevant, and timely information is effectively communicated at the right time, to the right audience.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinating and managing the definition, production (which will be conducted by third party) and circulation of reports, ensuring timely reviews and governance prior to publication.Act as the point of contact between the reporting function and on-site teams, internal resources and audiences for the reports, which will include internal management as well as external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.Embed continuous improvement and best practice throughout the delivery of the reporting suite, taking advantage of the latest technologies and processes (e.g. AI), where available and appropriate.Accordingly, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and competencies:Experience across performance and reporting activities through the full project lifecycle through to completion on high value road and/or infrastructure projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.Experience working in a comparable environment, or with a client or contractor organisation is highly desirable.Management information analysis, presentation and requirements.Reporting tools and applications:Microsoft tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)Business Intelligence (BI) tools – we are currently using MS Power BICost management systems, financial managementRelevant reporting with substantial experience in data visualisation and analysis techniques.Project controls design.Delivering and/or contributing to continuous improvement programs.Presenting complex technical information to senior management.Ability to work on own initiative to engage with stakeholders at all levels.Ability to lead and direct resources, some/most of whom are not within direct reporting lines, towards achieving the objectives of the role.Ability to negotiate and manage external internal parties, both in terms of their requirements, expectations delivery.Sound judgment and the ability to interpret and respond to nuanced stakeholder communications effectively.A keen eye for detail and ability to identify, interrogate, clarify and communicate key points for review within the reporting suite.Echelon-DC is an inclusive organisation, and we actively promote equality of opportunity for all with the right mix of talent, skills and potential.
