Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Social Policy, Social Work & Social Justice This role is intended to provide research assistant support to Associate Professor Muireann N Raghallaigh, School of Social Policy Social Work and Social Justice, University College Dublin in the implementation of a Horizon Europe-funded research project focused on housing inequality among refugees and migrants.
EqualHouse is a twelve-partner and eight country Horizon Europe funded project which examines the extent, nature and causes of housing inequalities in the EU and UK and explores how public policies, regulations, services and subsidies could provide sustainable, inclusive and affordable solutions to these inequalities.
Dr Muireann N Rahallaigh is lead of Work Package 7 (WP 7) which aims to understand acute housing inequalities among refugees and migrants while Prof. Michelle Norris, Director of the UCD Geary Institute for Public Policy is the principal investigator for the entire Horizon Europe project.
The focus of WP 7 is the housing and homelessness experiences of refugees and migrants, particularly at points of transition, including transitions upon entering a country, transitions after leaving state-provided accommodation and transitions following family reunification.
It will explore innovative solutions to homelessness and other forms of acute housing inequalities for these groups.
Salary Range: €33,291 - €43,372 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
