Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Energy, Utilities and Renewables Projects team.
The successful candidate will have a client-facing role, managing existing workloads and winning new projects. They will also be responsible for leading a team of engineers and overseeing the development of design calculations, drawings, specifications and design reports.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Process or a similar discipline, with over 10 years of post-graduate experience in relevant design roles. Excellent computer skills and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management and Business Development
* Leading a team of engineers and managing project performance
* Project lead for Design & Contract management from conceptual phase through to project completion
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Engineering degree (Level 8 or higher) in Mechanical, Process or a similar discipline relevant to the specification above
* 10+ years post-graduate and relevant design experience
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Problem Solver with a focus on continuous improvement
