About the Role
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Creation, review, and maintenance of product specifications and customer documentation
Ensuring product information complies with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements
Liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding specification requirements
Supporting technical and quality functions across the business
Assisting with audits, customer queries, and technical projects as required
Monitoring production processes and supporting continuous quality and process improvement initiatives whenever needed
What We're Looking For
A third‑level qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related Science discipline
Previous experience in a specification, technical, quality, or food manufacturing role would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of food labelling legislation, allergens, and retailer requirements
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
