HR Generalist Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This is a proactive role that requires a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and deliver HR policies and procedures across various departments.
* Assist with recruitment, talent development, diversity, equity, inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
* Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Conduct training sessions, manage training records, and ensure matrices are up-to-date.
* Support supervisors and managers with employee relations, report health and safety issues, and promote a safe company culture.
* Manage payroll, complete management information reporting, and support the Talent Acquisition team with open roles.
* Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
* Minimum 2-4 years in training and HR role in a manufacturing unionized environment.
* HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Suite, Workday, Core is advantageous.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
