Overview of role
UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic is hiring a Relief Staff Nurse for the Inpatient Ward. The role requires experience in a surgical ward, a relevant nursing qualification, and registration with An Bord Altranais on the General Division of the live register, with eligibility to work in Ireland.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients on the Inpatient Ward.
Work shifts as per department needs, offering flexible working hours.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 3 years surgical ward experience; orthopaedic exposure desirable.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong initiative, prioritisation, multitasking, and attention to detail.
Computer literate; Garda vetting required.
Good character and integrity.
