Bologna Health Jobs Ireland is seekingLocum Consultants in emergency medicine for three HSE hospitals in Ireland.
These hospitals are located in the south and northwest of Ireland and are among the most advanced in radiology on the island.
Clinical Skills:
· Advanced life support (ALS/ACLS, ATLS, PALS/APLS)
· Trauma resuscitation and critical care
· Airway management and procedural sedation
· Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS)
· Rapid assessment and diagnosis in high-pressure situations
· Management of medical and surgical emergencies across all ages
- The candidate will be part of the consultant team and will be one of the department's top managers. Therefore, they will occupy a leadership position and act with complete autonomy. They will report to residents and registered physicians, oversee all decisions made by your team, and report to the hospital's clinical director.

- The gross base salary is 231-277K gross per year. + €50,000 in on-call work, with the potential to earn up to €320,000 gross per year.
- 30 days of annual leave + 10 days of vacation.

- Bologna Health Jobs will assist physicians with many issues related to the selection and onboarding process at our client hospital, such as: CVS review to adapt it to vacancies, assistance with registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC), advice and recommendations before hospital interviews, help with having your experience in Ireland recognized if you come from abroad, relocation assistance, tax advice, career planning in Ireland, etc. Simply put, we pride ourselves on long-term relationships with the candidates we place, so we'll help you in any way we can to achieve this.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience (after primary medical qualification) in the medical profession, of which at least 5 have been dedicated to EM (including residency).
- Very high level of English (C1).
- Register with the IMC on the Register of EM Specialists. We will help all candidates do this if they are not already registered. We are one of the few agencies that will actually review all your documents to do this, both for registration with the IMC and all the necessary paperwork to enter a hospital. We will assist the candidate in several aspects, such as having a good CV, helping them prepare for interviews, and ensuring their experience is recognized so they are at the right salary level. - All candidates who are not registered must be qualified as specialist radiographers in the European Union (no CVS without this requirement will be considered) or, alternatively, must have held a specialist qualification recognized in an EU Member State and have practiced for three years from the date of recognition if they come from outside the EU.
