SALES MANAGER Role OverviewGenesis are seeking to hire a Component Sales Manager for Genesis's aircraft component trading subsidiary, ReGEN Aviation Limited.The Component Sales Manager will be responsible for the optimisation, sales and trading of aircraft and engine components and will be integrated in future transactions to contribute towards the upside potential of consignment/trading part sales.This is an excellent opportunity for the preferred candidate to manage the sale and optimisation of aircraft and engine components within the component trading division of an established global aircraft leasing company, with strong long-term shareholders.Role and ResponsibilitiesActively support and manage ReGEN's existing worldwide customer base through the sale of aircraft and engine components.Contribute towards ReGEN's mid and long terms growth targets by identifying new customer's and markets for ReGEN and assist with strategy planning for new market penetration.Represent Genesis and ReGEN with individual customers and at global aviation events and conferences.Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, MRO's and within the commercial aircraft leasing industry.Identification, creation, and optimisation of new ways to bring parts to market.Proactively executing on the go-to market strategy for part sales in order to exceed target revenues.Visit new operators, MRO's and lessees to support the component sales and trading opportunities.Support the creation of new customers within Quantum Control.Support the deal team and management team on ad-hoc projects as they arise.Coordinate with various team members and vendors - technical, legal, etc., to close transactions.Contribution to deal analysis by liaising with sales and trading teams for Board Approval documentation.Provide regular reports to ReGEN management team on sales progress and opportunities.Demonstrate strong, professional relationships with both Genesis and ReGEN suppliers and operators.Additional functionsAttend industry events and trade shows.This role will require travel from time to time and as required for customer visits / trade shows.Skills and ExperienceMinimum 2 years of sales experience; preferably in the aviation/component sector.Experience using Quantum preferred but not essentialProficient in Microsoft Applications (Office, Outlook, Excel)Ability to work autonomously and as part of a teamAbility to manage large and/or complex projectsExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong planning and organisational abilities, with a keen focus on quality, attention to detail, and a proactive commercial approachDemonstrated commercial awareness and goal-oriented mindsetGenesis Aircraft Services is an equal opportunities employer
