Reporting to the Head of Aviation, this full-time and permanent position is based in Ireland and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global International Tax Advisory Aviation Department and it's growth.Purpose of RoleOverall responsibility and management of a team responsible for delivery of cash management, monthly investor reporting, accounting, and administrative services to a portfolio of Aviation clients.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position requires management of the following in respect of an allocated portfolio of clients:Overall transaction and client relationship management including oversight, supervision and responsibility for the client management team involvedManaging and leading a team of 5-10 peopleImplementation of all relevant policies and procedures and responsibility for ensuring team compliance with sameImplementation of suitable process and controlsEnsuring client specific administrative and operational procedure documents are managed effectively and kept up to dateProactively ensure high quality client service level is maintained by all team members, and that work is completed accurately within agreed timescalesProactively manage deals by understanding clients' needs and deal documentsReview of operative documents and implementation of suitable controls and processes, ensuring all tasks are appropriately resourced and managedAll aspects of cash management in accordance with the corporate administration agreementAssist in implementation of standardised accounting processProvide technical accounting supports to other teams, when necessary, and assist in training for aviation accountingDevelopment of accounting policiesOwnership of the chart of accounts and trial balance with responsibility for ensuring all accounts are reconciled and open items cleared within agreed timelinesOversight of the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting, including single entity and consolidated financial statements (to include account analyses) in accordance with IFRS (or other applicable accounting standards) within prescribed deadlineOversight of the preparation pre filing of client tax returns (i.e. Corporation tax, VAT and Payroll taxes)Co-ordination and completion of the annual audit process for all clients, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met as scheduledReview pre filing of all regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland on a timely basisMaintaining excellent working relationships with clients, servicers, investors, rating agencies, legal counsels and others as appropriateMonitoring client profitability and implementing change actions as requiredEnsuring clients are billed in accordance with agreed termsEnsuring achievement of all targets and KPIs as agreed with the directorsMonitoring team performance and provide necessary coaching & mentoring,Managing probationary process and regular staff appraisal meetings for teamEnsure all inquiries both internal and external are dealt with promptly, andAd hoc duties that may be assigned from time to timeAttributes/Technical SkillsDirect people management experienceExcellent communication (written and verbal) and client servicing skillsStrong time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesResults orientedHighly organised with an eye for detailResourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilitiesTeam player with flexible and hands-on approach where requiredAnalytical mindset with ability to identify opportunities for leaner, consistent processes which promote accurate data captureRelevant ExperienceAt least 6 years post qualified experience, preferably in the corporate services industry or accounting practiceFinancial services experience, ideally in structured finance and/or aircraft leasingEducation and Professional Qualification• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)Company Benefits:27 days annual leave per annumPrivate medical insurancePension: 6% employer contribution after completion of probation periodLife assurance 4x salaryIncome protectionCommuter tax saver schemeBike to work schemeIf you are excited about working with us, we encourage you to apply or have a confidential chat with one of our Talent Acquisition team members.
