Key Commercial Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial professional to lead our door package management operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, cost control, and team leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
* Packages and Contracts Management:
o Develop and implement comprehensive budgeting strategies for multiple commercial sites.
o Monitor and analyze cost performance to identify areas for improvement.
o Ensure accurate valuation, variation, and final account settlements.
* Risk and Opportunity Management:
o Conduct thorough commercial risk reviews to mitigate potential losses.
o Identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance profitability.
o Implement effective risk mitigation strategies across all contractual engagements.
* Team Leadership and Collaboration:
o Lead and manage a high-performing team of quantity surveyors and contracts managers.
o Foster a collaborative culture focused on project success and customer satisfaction.
* Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement:
o Liaise with architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure seamless integration of door packages.
o Provide regular commercial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Qualifications:
o Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Skills and Experience:
o Strong understanding of UK construction contracts.
o Proven experience in managing and leading a busy commercial department.
o Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
