Project Manager Mechanical / Construction Our clients, part of a multinational who supply, install and maintain capital equipment in large building projects, are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. As aProject Manager, you will be the interface with all key stakeholders during the project. You coordinate the activities of your assigned projects to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget, using approved methodologies and tools. You will be in daily contact with our clients, subcontractors and your colleagues (supervisors, fitters, quantity surveyors, planners, document controllers). You will be the coordinator, keeping all parties working together smoothly. The Role: You will be overseeing and monitoring the execution of Equipment installation projects You will be in direct contact with clients. You are their main point-of-contact. You will review project proposal to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project You will establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of project You oversee the planning of delivery and storage of materials to the site(s) You coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget You aim to be an energizing leader who gets the best of others and strives to exceed customer expectations The Person: A degree qualified engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Building services preferably or other similar technical qualifications); Quantity Surveyor with site management experience will be considered. Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management or Contract Administration are desirable, but not essential. Currently working as a Project manager / Contracts manager with a medium to large contracting organisation Preferably 5+ years of industry experience (building, civil engineering, etc.) Mixture of both site and office experience Familiar with project management tools e.g. Microsoft Project & Excel, familiar with orderbook management dashboard systems. Financial management pricing works, preparing variations, budgeting, cost control and monitoring.
