Project Manager - Dundalk

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the PMO (Project Management Office/Centre of Excellence) in Dundalk. This is a key role in supporting excellence in project delivery and is part of a small local PMO team responsible for leading and governing cross‑functional projects on site.
Position Responsibilities
* Plan and execute multi‑discipline technical transfer projects (Drug Substance / Drug Product).
* Develop project controls (Project Execution Plans, schedules, risks, tracking and budgets).
* Lead the project team through all project phases to regulatory submission, engaging site teams as required.
* Project‑manage selected projects within the site’s portfolio, including process improvement, new system delivery and NPI projects in our Drug Product specialism.
* Develop project controls to ensure alignment of project timelines with business needs.
* Lead/support rapid improvement projects using appropriate methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc).
* Track KPIs and report status to plan.
* Work with sponsors at initiation to ensure scope is fully defined and understood.
* Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure execution is to plan.
* Resolve issues and escalates risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 6+ years industry experience with at least 4 years in a project management role.
* Demonstrated leadership of technical and/or operational teams or projects within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing organisation.
* Experience of product transfer across a network.
* Experience in biopharmaceutical bulk drug substance manufacturing, aseptic fill‑finish, and ops readiness.
* Strong presentation and communication skills to multi‑level stakeholders.
* Experience applying project execution methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc).
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Experience leading cross‑functional matrix project teams.
* Experience in MPS/Operational Excellence – Green Belt advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Science or related field.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in vaccines, biologics or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Project management qualifications such as PMP certification.
