Your new role
We're seeking a hands-on Technical Team Lead who will guide a team of engineers in delivering robust, well-architected solutions using modern engineering practices. This role requires
solid expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
. You'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a cross-functional team of software engineers, fostering a high-performing environment focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence while enabling your team to deliver value continuously.
What you'll need to succeed
* Technical Lead
, or
Senior Software Engineer
with 10 + years of experience looking to step up into a team lead role.
* You will be working with
Java/Jakarta EE
Application development, including
Java 17
and newer versions.
* Experience working in
Test-Driven Development (TDD)
, ensuring all production code is designed, written, and evolved through a test-first approach using frameworks like JUnit or TestNG.
* Demonstrated expertise with Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices using Jenkins or similar tools
* Demonstrated experience with Pair and Mob/Ensemble Programming, focused on delivering value in small increments with short feedback loops and continuous knowledge sharing within the team.
* Experience with AWS in a commercial setting would be advantageous.
