Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding building services contractor, is seeking an experienced
Mechanical Contracts Manager
to join their Dublin-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile, large-scale project while working closely with senior leadership.
Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining exceptional stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project cost plans and budgets
Lead and coordinate multiple project teams to ensure successful contract delivery
Oversee subcontractor performance, quality assurance, and compliance standards
Ensure full adherence to current Health & Safety legislation
Support commercial teams in managing contract costs, variations, and financial reporting
Identify and mitigate programme risks, working closely with design teams to maintain milestones
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Oversee planning and scheduling activities to ensure programme accuracy
Manage material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
10+ years' experience within construction or a related industry
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience
Proficient in MS Office and project planning tools
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong leadership ability with a proactive and results-driven approach
