Main Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers with a positive attitude, demonstrating I-CARE behaviors.
2. Bake and finish products to the highest standard, adhering to guidelines.
3. Maintain merchandising and presentation of the Bakery department, meeting standards.
4. Taste products for quality assurance, identifying areas for improvement.
5. Increase sales through in-store initiatives, driving business growth.
6. Ensure accurate stocktaking, waste reduction, and production planning procedures are followed.
7. Maintain product margins, follow portion control, and ensure ordering is done correctly.
8. Maximize turnover through regular stock rotation and quality checks.
9. Address department problems to increase consistency, margins, and reduce waste.
10. Pursue ongoing training and implement learnings to improve performance.
11. Implement HACCP best practices across the bakery, prioritizing food safety.
12. Comply with Health & Safety regulations, reporting breaches and following spillage and accident procedures.
