IT PMO Project Coordinator
eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for an IT PMO Project Coordinator. This is a 12month daily rate contract position located with our client in Dublin City Centre. Work pattern is 2 days per week onsite.
Overview:
1. Project management support professional to work within the client PMO, providing project coordination support for project teams across multiple programmes and projects. Programmes / projects include the development and roll out of IT applications, organisation design, service design and transformation initiatives.
Mandatory:
2. A primary degree or equivalent in a related field (Degree in Business, Project Management, IT or related discipline)
3. Project Management certification: PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner o PMP

Responsibilities
4. Programme/Project Co-ordination: Support project and programme leads by coordinating timelines, milestones and reporting cycles. Assist in planning, scheduling and monitoring project activities
5. Documentation: Maintain project plans, progress/ status reports, risk registers, issues log and governance records.
6. Reporting: Prepare status reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders; keep project details updated in the portfolio management application.
7. Co-ordinate communications, meeting agendas and follow up actions.
8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to organisational project management standards.
9. Financial Tracking: Support budget monitoring and procurement processes.
10. Risk and Issue Management: Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are tracked, escalated and reported accurately.
11. Ability to work autonomously with ownership of outcomes for key projects.
Required Experience:
12. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
13. Team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
14. Proficiency in the English language.
15. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
16. Analytical thinking and problem solving.
17. Ability to coordinate tasks, maintain project documentation, track progress, manage scheduling and logistics.
18. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, preparation of reports, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
19. Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams, support project leads, and contribute to project outcomes.
20. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse information, prepare performance reports, and support evidence‑informed decision‑making
21. Digital & IT Skills: Competence in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project tools (MS Project, PPM applications) documentation platforms.
