PL/SQL Developer – 4 Month Contract, Hybrid, Dublin
What's Involved
* Designing, developing, and maintaining PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
* Optimising SQL queries and improving database performance across large data sets
* Developing reports and data solutions using Oracle APEX, Forms/Reports, and BI Publisher
* Supporting data integration, migration, and ETL processes between systems
* Working closely with business analysts and developers in an Agile/DevOps environment
* Contributing to system upgrades and migrations (e.g. Oracle 19c, EC2 to Kubernetes)
What's Needed
* 5+ years' hands-on experience as a PL/SQL Developer (Oracle 11g–19c)
* Strong skills in SQL tuning, performance optimisation, and data model design
* Experience with Oracle APEX, Forms/Reports, and related Oracle tools
* Familiarity with AWS, TDV, or similar cloud and virtualisation environments
* Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jira, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket) and Agile methodologies
* Excellent problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail
