Your new companyAn Irish technology company with presence across Ireland, UK & Europe has a new headcount position available for a recently qualified accountant who has financial, management and FP&A accounting experience in industry, ideally in an SME company. This company offers hybrid working 3 days in office and 2 days at home and with the rate of growth and change, your role will expand and will offer exciting new learnings and challenges as you progress.Your new roleJoining a team of 5, this Financial Accountant will report to the Head of Finance. Your duties will include responsibilities across the finance function but with a core focus on financial accounting on UK & EU subsidiaries, as well as management accounting, FP&A support.Month end close for UK & subsidiariesSupport on budgeting and forecasting activitiesLead process improvements that will automate and streamline month-end and management account packsAssist with audit readiness and compliance, including introducing SOP documentation to streamline processesAssist with bringing in PowerBI to the finance function to enhance and simplify current reporting and insightsCashflow forecasting and modellingWhat you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a fully qualified accountant with 0-3 years' PQE (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/ACA), ideally from an SME background in industry with strong technical capabilties including consolidationsYou will have trained in industry in an SME company or have practice training followed by experience in an SME companyEnd to end month-end close and financial accounting experienceExposure to budgeting and forecastingFinancial modelling, powerBI or other data analytic tools are a distinct advantageWhat you'll get in returnYou will be rewarded with a salary of €65,000 DOE plus a 3% pension contribution, 24 days annual leave(increasing to 26 with service) and hybrid working in a central location.
