Our environment and social practice provides essential services and innovative solutions across sectors.Overview Of The RoleWorking on complex projects, the role will include:Working collaboratively with engineering colleagues and clients to pre-empt risk, inform design (including nature-inclusive design) and mitigate by avoidanceFeasibility and optioneering stages informing preliminary design, statutory consent, and construction-stage projects in energy, water, and transport sectors (onshore and maritime)Client facing and client managementStakeholder engagementInterface management across multi-disciplinary teamsSupporting and mentoring colleaguesIncorporating lessons learned to continuously improve service offerings and deliveryCoordinate / prepare high quality optioneering reports, environmental assessment reports (including Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Reports) and statutory particulars
Candidate SpecificationEssentialA degree level or equivalent education in a related fieldAt least five years of experience in a co-ordinator role for delivering planning and environmental services in IrelandExcellent reporting ability with examples availableIn-depth knowledge of planning and environmental law in IrelandExperience in delivering long-linear projectsExperience in offshore renewable energy projects preferred but not essentialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong data and document management skillsBroad understanding of planning and environmental risks with initiative to identify and develop solutionsCollaborative and supportive approach to working with colleagues and clientsCommitment to technical excellence
