SureLogik are partnering with a multinational organisation to hire a Senior IT Support Engineer who will take ownership of on-site technology support, ensuring reliable systems and seamless user experiences across desktops, servers, and business applications.

This role will be in a small IT team, responsible for 3 sites (2 in Dublin & 1 in Cork).
Hybrid model in place with some remote work allowed, but candidates must be willing to travel to the Cork office a few times a month as part of their onsite requirement.
What You'll Do
 * Deliver 1st and 2nd line support across all company-owned devices — desktops, laptops, printers, servers, software, and mobile devices.
 * Manage and prioritise tickets raised via the corporate helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution and clear user communication.
 * Support, install, and configure hardware, software, and network devices in line with central IT standards.
 * Administer Microsoft environments, including Windows OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Office 365.
 * Maintain IT asset registers, handle equipment onboarding/offboarding, and manage hardware lifecycle/disposal.
 * Document local systems, infrastructure, and business applications.
 * Contribute to wider IT infrastructure and rollout projects in collaboration with central teams.
 * Support internal and external events, ensuring equipment setup and technical readiness.
 * Promote IT security awareness and compliance with corporate policies.
What You'll Bring
 * Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT support or systems administration role.
 * Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
 * Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
 * Experience managing local infrastructure, including servers and network equipment.
 * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
 * Highly organised and proactive, with a focus on delivering a great user experience.
Nice to Have
 * Experience with IT asset management systems and helpdesk tools.
 * Familiarity with patch management, backup procedures, or local database administration.
 * Exposure to infrastructure rollout projects or multi-site environments.
 * Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are an advantage.
