Director, Product Management - One View (Advanced, Compliance, Receipting and Payments)
One View is UKG’s Global Payroll product that simplifies and centralizes payroll operations across 160+ countries, 120+ currencies, and 20+ languages, providing customers with a unified view of workforce pay data, operational consistency, compliance, and seamless employee experience.
We are seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our One View global payroll product pillar, with a focus on Payments and Compliance & Receipting. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving innovation, ensuring regulatory alignment, and delivering seamless global payroll experiences.
You will lead a team of product managers and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to deliver market-leading solutions that meet the evolving needs of multinational organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
* Define and champion the product vision and roadmap for One View’s payments and compliance & receipting capabilities.
* Own the full product lifecycle — from ideation and requirements to launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
* Partner with customers, internal stakeholders, and market analysts to validate product direction and ensure competitive differentiation.
Leadership & People Management
* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
* Align team goals with broader business objectives and ensure delivery against strategic priorities.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to influence and align product strategy across the organization.
Execution & Delivery
* Translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps and detailed functional specifications.
* Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, QA, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
Customer & Market Engagement
* Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, representing UKG at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
* Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform product innovation and compliance strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
* 8–10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years in a people management role.
* Demonstrated success in owning and delivering complex SaaS products, ideally in HR, payroll, financial, or regulatory compliance domains. Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
* Strong leadership and team development skills. Proven ability to lead a product pillar through the full development lifecycle.
* Data‑driven mindset and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to diagnose complex business challenges and feature gaps, and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in partnership with technology teams.
* Exceptional communication skills: facilitating product design workshops and cross‑functional sessions; confidently engaging with executives, cross‑functional stakeholders, and customers and presenting platform updates.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
