About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, organised and physically fit individual to join our warehouse team, working in our freezer section to support the order fulfilment process for our online pet shop, Fetch Your Pet Needs. This is a hands-on role in a temperature-controlled environment, requiring attention to detail, time management, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pick and prepare customer orders from freezer stock for dispatch
* Assist with packing preparation for dispatch with DPD
* Receive incoming goods and ensure organised storage
* Carry out date rotation and stock control to maintain stock accuracy
* Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the freezer area
* Take responsibility for the freezer area and ensure proper functioning and upkeep
* Work efficiently to meet time-sensitive packing and dispatch deadlines
* Work alongside the wider warehouse team to complete daily tasks
Requirements:
* Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
* Comfortable working in a freezer environment
* Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks (heavy lifting required)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented
