Business partnering with the CEO and operational senior team to drive financial insight and influence operational decision making. This role is a hybrid working role with 2 day's on-site required per week.Key duties and responsibilities:Reporting and ControlEnsure the preparation and consolidation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and TBs submitted within Group timeframesResponsible for the final GL balances including detailed review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and P&LProvide detailed financial insight and support on business performance to the CFO and Sedgwick Ireland Executive.Provide excellent financial control, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and legal requirements.Analyse KPI performance for each business to surface underlying trends, positive and negativePoint of contact for all financial and control mattersWorking Capital and cashflow management – driving efficiencies and reductions in WC investment.Lead AP and AR activities to facilitate GL timely closeLead on the annual statutory audit and statutory accounts delivery.PeopleLead, develop and manage the finance team.Implementation of a change management culture by challenging and replacing established processes and procedures where necessaryPlan workload that ensures that all team members know what is expected of them and when, monitoring KPI performance of all finance team activities.Perform colleagues' appraisals and annual reviews and ensure all have a personal development plan (PDP)Support colleagues in addressing their development needs and with their career planning.ComplianceImplement all business improvements from an internal audit perspective. Actively challenge the team to ensure best in class control framework.Ensure adherence to the Group Finance manual / processesFoster a control conscious environment throughout the full team on the importance of corporate governanceOwnership of annual statutory process by ensuring finance team is well placed to meet audit requirements.
