Job Description
This role is ideal for a skilled nurse who has extensive experience in the management and care of service users with mental health issues, including those with a diagnosis of eating disorders.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents with mental health issues, including eating disorders, to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and possess a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents with mental health issues, including eating disorders, to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Treatment and Care: Provide evidence-based treatments for eating disorders, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family-based therapy (FBT), and medication management. Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and provide comprehensive services to patients and their families.
