Workday Integration Developer Role
This position involves leading a team responsible for a key HR system in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday integrations, designing, developing, and maintaining custom solutions within the Workday platform. This includes configuring applications, creating integrations, building reports, and customizing workflows.
The successful candidate will manage operations of Workday integrations, supervising the Workday operations team. They will design and implement new Workday integrations and enhance existing integrations using APIs, Core Connectors, EIBs, Payroll Interfaces, and Workday Studio.
The role requires experience in Workday Reporting, Workday HCM, Workday Studio, XML / XSLT / HTML, and SOAP / REST APIs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing custom reports for HR users using Workday Report Writer and collaborating closely with teams to understand business requirements and develop technical specifications.
A key aspect of this role is driving root cause analysis and resolution of critical issues in Workday integrations. Conducting weekly and monthly operations review meetings with stakeholders is also essential. Identifying process improvements in Workday integrations and reports is crucial. Additionally, conducting bi-annual Workday upgrade testing using SMART Kainos Test Manager is required. The successful candidate must be able to front face customers and act as the first point of contact for escalations.
