RPS has great opportunities for Resident Engineers Civils to join our site-based teams for roles in the South East, South West, and Dublin Region of the Republic of Ireland.
About The Role
We are seeking several Resident Engineers Civils to work on major above and below ground water utility projects, helping to deliver essential infrastructure for our clients and ensuring that works are carried out according to contract documents (works requirements).
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Monitoring and reporting on onsite works
2. Ensuring contractor compliance with Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
3. Preparing technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidates will possess:
1. A Level 8 degree in Engineering
2. At least 7 years of relevant postgraduate experience, including site supervision and monitoring safe working practices, preferably in water sector projects. Experience with pipeline treatment plants is an advantage.
3. A clean driving license
4. Current Safepass, Managing Safely in Construction, and Manual Handling certifications
