We are presently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Engineer to support in the design, installation, and testing of HVAC, piping, and utility systems in a new production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the engineering requirements of the project by familiarising with Design/IFC specifications and drawings.
* Contribute to the coordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority.
* Manage material procurement utilising Engineering Materials Report and track equipment procurement and delivery to site.
* Ensure works are installed in accordance with Project specifications and QA plan.
* Complete site audits to verify proper processes and procedures.
* Prepare project completion criteria and close out documents.
* Manage work packs from development to implementation and handover.
* Liaise with clients and write reports to present to Directors and other relevant parties.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience working with a recognised Mechanical/contractor in process mechanical/pipework.
* Proficient in use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions.
* Experience with Project/Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process.
Project Overview:
This is a full-time, permanent position supporting the construction of a new production facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the engineering requirements of the project, managing material procurement, and ensuring works are installed in accordance with Project specifications and QA plan.
