Job Title: Community Development Coordinator


Key Responsibilities:


* Develop facilitation skills and support leadership of network representatives to ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
* Mentor community workers and project representatives to enhance their leadership skills.
* Support bottom-up approaches with engagement with community residents and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with interagency structures and partnerships to achieve common goals.
* Shadow project workers to gain insight into community development initiatives.
* Identify funding sources and submit applications to secure resources for community projects.
* Support the delivery of strategic plans and annual work plans for community development initiatives.
* Facilitate roadmap design and implementation for community projects.
* Support collaboration and communication among community members, staff, and stakeholders.


General Duties and Responsibilities:


* Support planning, development, and implementation of actions and programs for community development.
* Collaborate with community stakeholders to engage in community development initiatives.
* Engage with community residents and stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns.
* Develop leadership skills of community representatives to empower them to make decisions.
* Conduct regular supervision and performance evaluations of team members.
* Organise professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Take responsibility for safeguarding and protecting vulnerable individuals in the community.
* Compile reports and maintain records of community development initiatives.
* Fulfil other duties as required to support community development efforts.


Staff Management:


* Report to the CEO of the organisation.
* Manage and supervise staff to ensure effective team performance.
* Implement strategies and conduct ongoing reviews to improve team performance.
* Define clear actions and responsibilities for team members.
* Conduct regular staff performance reviews to evaluate their performance.
* Facilitate team meetings to promote collaboration and open communication.
* Ensure effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
* Participate in recruitment and retention efforts to build a strong team.


Quality Service Provision:


* Provide high-quality services to the community in line with funding agreements.
* Lead team quality audits to ensure compliance with organisational standards.
* Develop and review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
