Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional for a busy healthcare facility in Dublin. This is an ideal role for chefs who have worked across multiple kitchen stations, including pastry, cold kitchen, prep, and salads.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present nutritious meals in line with dietary guidelines to meet the diverse needs of patients
* Work effectively across multiple kitchen stations to ensure seamless operations and deliver high-quality results
* Lead or support daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality through effective teamwork and communication
* Implement and maintain all HACCP, food safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment
* Manage stock rotation, food storage, and waste minimisation to reduce costs and improve sustainability
* Monitor portion control, food presentation, and allergens to ensure patient well-being and comfort
* Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams on menu planning to develop innovative and appealing options
* Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant kitchen environment that meets regulatory requirements
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification to demonstrate culinary expertise
* Proven experience in healthcare or high-volume catering, with multi-station skills to excel in fast-paced environments
* Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and cook-chill procedures to ensure compliance and quality
* Legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance to ensure suitability for the role
* Ability to provide 5 years of work references to validate experience and skills
* Flexibility to work weekday and weekend shifts to accommodate operational needs
* Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative team environment
