The project aims to migrate from the existing Alcatel Lucent IP telephony platform to a Microsoft Teams Phone solution, delivering a single, integrated voice service aligned to existing departmental platforms byQ4 2026.Are you intrigued? Do you want to learn more?A snapshot of your key responsibilities as a Business Analyst would be:Engage stakeholders across the Department to elicit, analyse, validate, and prioritise telephony and business requirementsConduct stakeholder interviews and facilitate workshops to support requirements gathering and prioritisationAnalyse and document the current telephony environment, including PBX, SIP trunks, call flows, and usage patternsProduce As-Is and To-Be process maps, aligning business processes to Microsoft Teams Phone workflowsPerform gap analysis between the legacy telephony system and Microsoft Teams Phone capabilitiesProduce a full suite of business analysis artefacts, including:Business Requirements Documents (BRD)Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)MoSCoW-prioritised Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)Use cases, features, epics, and user storiesRequirements traceability documentationEnsure all analysis artefacts are fit for purpose to support public-sector procurement processes (RFT / RFP)Prepare Requests for Change (RFCs) for weekly CAB meetingsDefine UAT scenarios, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, and capture feedbackUndertake change impact assessments and support change management activitiesMaintain requirements traceability throughout delivery and validate requirements post-deploymentDocument lessons learned and update process documentationRequirements:Essential Experience & SkillsProven experience as a Business Analyst on complex ICT or digital transformation programmesStrong background in requirements gathering and documentation for public-sector procurementExperience evaluating or implementing COTS, SaaS, and/or low-code/no-code platformsProficiency using Azure DevOps (or equivalent) for requirements managementExperience using MS Dynamics 365 CRM or similar platformsStrong business process modelling skills using BPMN, Visio, or equivalent toolsSolid understanding of Microsoft Teams Phone architecture, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, and Calling PlansFamiliarity with SIP trunking, SBCs, and telephony call flow conceptsAwareness of network considerations such as QoS, latency, jitter, and bandwidthStrong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, or similar toolsExperience facilitating workshops using tools such as Miro, Mural, or MS WhiteboardExcellent written and verbal communication skillsQualificationsProfessional certification in Business Analysis or Product DevelopmentAgile BA certification or demonstrable Agile delivery experience (Scrum / Kanban)Level 8 degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related discipline (or higher)DesirableExperience supporting Irish public-sector RFT/RFP processesExperience on education, citizen services, or digital government programmesFamiliarity with cloud-based SaaS evaluations and data migration planningStrong understanding of GDPR, accessibility standards, and procurement legislationSo, are you ready to join our team?It's important to remember, emagine is anEqual Employment Opportunity Employer.
