About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Investment Team. In the role, the successful candidate will:
Work with the senior members on monitoring and reporting of performance and risk of funds and portfolios managed by Davy to internal and external benchmarks;
Analyze and effectively communicate the drivers of this performance to the different stakeholders including client advisors;
Monitor risk exposures across portfolios, including market, credit, and liquidity risks;
Ensure our processes are robust by reviewing and updating the procedures, ensuring appropriate controls are used, developing relevant metrics and cross‑training with other analysts where needed;
Collate documentation in relation to portfolio and funds for various investment committees;
Support the Investment Committee's evaluations and decisions with ad hoc investment analysis related to the current or prospective products;
Manage relationships with external stakeholders including the boards of funds managed by Davy;
Work with the broader investment team to improve existing and create new fund management and operational processes;
Monitor of funds allocations and trades in line with investment policies;
Assist asset allocation analytics to ensure suitability, cost minimization & implementation;
Work with our colleagues in IT to drive efficiencies in processes and production;
Participate in change forums and project meetings, providing input, sharing feedback and supporting testing activities to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives.

About You
5+ years of relevant experience;
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field;
Familiar with multi‑asset portfolios and institutional investment strategies;
Experience in quantitative research, performance measurement, performance attribution, and ex‑ante/ex‑post risk;
Strong interest in financial modelling, portfolio analytics, statistical analysis, and data modelling;
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, written and verbal communication skills;
Working knowledge of scripted/programming languages (e.g., Python and SQL);
Strong understanding of financial markets and the main asset classes;
Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint);
Knowledge of UCITS, MiFID II or SFDR regulatory requirements would be beneficial;
CFA qualification, or working towards, would be beneficial;
Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
