We are hiring a Service Manager for our client in County Kerry. This role involves managing Engineering Service Team of 12 people, ensuring excellent customer service, meeting performance targets, and maintaining compliance. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and collaborate with the Technical Lead to uphold service quality and drive improvements. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working week option offered.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of the Service Team
2. Responsible for maintaining high-performance levels of service-related processes and the ability to implement improvements where necessary
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
4. Responsible for Service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations and driving future demand
5. Responsible for delivery of Service improvements, ensuring that actions are implemented on time and within budget
6. Leading people management, including staff recruitment and retention, performance appraisals, training and mentoring
Qualifications and experiences:
7. Qualification in Engineering or business.
8. Minimum of 2+ years previous experience in leading a services business, ideally within the Engineering, IT, Service or Medical Devices or Professional Services Industries.
9. Strong leadership experience.
