If you would like to join a company who wins high profile projects with blue chip clients and if you enjoy working in a stimulating environment, then Flynn is the company for you.REPORTING TO: Environmental Health and Safety LeadPurpose of RoleThe Environmental Health & Safety Advisor is responsible for establishing, developing and directing the implementation of the HS&E strategy on Projects while ensuring that a Positive Safety Culture is maintained, and that Flynn are established as industry leaders in relation to Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. Role ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety Guidance: Implement Flynn's EHS policies and provide guidance on all health and safety matters.Policies, Procedures & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining EHS documentation.Inspections, Audits & Reporting Conduct site inspections and audits and prepare reports.Risk Management & Incident Reporting: Complete risk assessments and ensure incidents and accidents are investigated.Training & Communication: Identify training needs and deliver EHS training sessions.Subcontractor & Stakeholder Management: Ensure subcontractor compliance with EHS standardsThe CandidateThird level qualification in EHS or a related discipline.3+ years' experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.Full clean driver's license preferable.Excellent communication skills.Career PathFlynn implement a highly structured career progression programme through a continual professional development programme (PDP) and mentoring programme which has been the foundation to our success.
