An established organisation is seeking a qualified Client Accountant to join its finance team in Dublin. This role sits within a high performing environment managing a substantial and diverse portfolio.
This opportunity would suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys ownership, stakeholder engagement and delivering high quality financial reporting within a deadline driven setting.

About You
You are a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
You have strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience
You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
You take ownership of your work and see tasks through to completion
You are highly organised with strong attention to detail
You are comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
Experience working with portfolio based accounts would be advantageous but not essential
Exposure to integrated finance systems would be beneficial
About Your New Role
Always
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial and management reports for assigned clients
Maintain integrity of all financial data across your portfolio
Complete and review key reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
Analyse financial performance and provide clear insight into variances
Support annual budgeting processes and review budget versus actual performance
Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Support audit requirements and provide requested documentation in a timely manner

Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
Collaborate with operational teams to resolve queries and financial issues
Review reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency
Contribute to system and process enhancement initiatives

Support wider finance projects as required by the business
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Submit a report without checking the reconciliations balance
