Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction works on site, ensuring safe completion and adherence to program and project drawings.
Additionally, they will oversee day-to-day technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, Submittals, and Design Team Workshops.
They must also set out site works using robotic total stations, GPS, and surveying tools for accurate measurements and layouts.
Quality control measures in line with the BCAR plan must be implemented.
Effective liaison with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams is crucial for successful project delivery.
Support from Project Manager/Contracts Manager is required to complete works as per programme and high standard.
Requirements
* A third-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline is necessary.
* Knowledge of various construction techniques and types is required.
* 2-4 years' experience on Irish Construction projects is desirable.
* Competence in set out, survey, level, temporary works coordination is essential.
* Strong numeracy and report writing skills are necessary.
* Able to formulate plans and execute within budget and timeline.
* Able to make informed decisions and know when to escalate.
