Software Test Engineer - 12 Month+ Contract - €485/Day
Our client is seeking a passionate and innovative Software Test Engineer to join their agile team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge payment solutions through their Payment Gateway Service.
This role is perfect for a Software Test Engineer eager to make an immediate impact on a rapidly growing platform.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive Quality/Test strategies, including integration and functional testing.
2. Review project timelines, focusing on test plans and acceptance criteria.
3. Design and maintain test automation frameworks, tools, and test suites.
4. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to embed quality and testing standards throughout the development lifecycle.
5. Build robust test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools such as Playwright.
Qualifications:
6. Experience in debugging and testing UI and Java/JVM-based applications.
7. Proficiency with modern quality engineering and test automation tools (e.g., JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium, TestNG, JMeter).
8. Strong background in creating test automation scripts from scratch using OOP languages and frameworks like Selenium.
9. Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
10. Experience testing web applications built with technologies like JavaScript, Angular, or jQuery.
11. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
12. Ability to create effective acceptance and integration test automation scripts, integrating them with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or Bamboo, and utilizing code coverage tools like Sonar or Clover.
13. Exposure to performance engineering requirements is a plus.
14. Experience testing cloud applications is desirable.
15. Familiarity with developing Java-based web services is a bonus but not required.
