Then this is the role for you! Our client here at Inform3 are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their team where you will gain valuable knowledge and you will have strong Electrical Engineering skills with supporting Mechanical skills. You will have previous experience of working within an Automated Factory environment. This is a continental shift role alternating between 7am 7pm and 7pm 7am including weekends as well. Duties Involve: Responsible for the Maintenance Engineering function on shift. To ensure that all equipment is repaired to the highest possible standards. To record all work carried out in SAP and on Shift Report. To be responsible for the Maintenance H&S function on shift. To provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all Maintenance activities. To be a hands on / front line leader of the team in breakdown situations. To work alongside the Maintenance Team to build a continuous improvement environment within the facility. To be a good communicator and have the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative. Carry out preventative maintenance tasks including condition-based monitoring. To carry out a shift hand over meeting at the start and end of each shift. Responsible for identifying equipment spares and informing Manager / Planner of spares used during your shift. Provide Maintenance assistance to our cold stores refrigeration plant when need arises. Skills Required: Qualified Electrical Engineer with strong Mechanical engineering knowledge. Ability to use multimeter, understand Electrical schematics and have ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and sensor faults. Food and other Utility experiences an advantage. Good team player and self-motivated. Available for call out duties and / or overtime when required. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP) Benefits: Company pension scheme and healthcare.
