The INN at Dromoland are currently seeking a skilled and experienced relief Chef de Partie for December for 3 weeks plus. As a relief Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for providing culinary support to the team.In conjunction with the Head Chef the ideal candidate will be responsible for:Smooth running in all aspects of the kitchen.To prepare and produce food to standard and in a fast-paced environment.To assist with the opening and closing procedures of the Kitchen.Maintaining a high level of personal and operative hygiene.Adhering to Food Hygiene and HACCP systems already in place.Candidates must meet the following criteria:Have 3rd level qualification.Have previous kitchen experience in each of the roles.In-depth knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.Have a level of high service standards that are the expectations of guests.Must be focused on standards with excellent attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently and effectively in high-pressure situations.Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
