Job Description:
HPEFS plays a key role in enabling the HPE GreenLake and Private Cloud solutions, providing the IT asset financing and lifecycle management services for all HPE GreenLake assets. This role will be dedicated to leading our integration with the HPE GreenLake and Private Cloud organization, scaling the business and delivering solutions to help accelerate customer adoption of HPE GreenLake. This person will be responsible for ensuring we are tightly aligned from a solution offering and GTM perspective, and that we have the right people, processes and tools in place to manage the business. Further, this role is responsible for developing executive and working-level relationships with key members of the BU staff and their extended teams to advance our joint initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Establishing and cultivating relationships with WW BU and GTM teams to achieve strategic alignment and integration, marketing and promotion of the HPEFS value proposition to HPE GreenLake sales, customers and partners, as measured by HPEFS' full participation and integration with BU-led solutions and GTM initiatives.
* Identifying opportunities and formulating actions to help drive growth of the HPEFS business including fully leveraging our IT Asset Lifecycle Solutions to transition customers to GreenLake
* In partnership with HPEFS Sales and Portfolio Management leaders, proactively positioning HPEFS value-add to drive our engagement in new logo pursuits and IB contract refresh, leading to increased volume of orders with both New Logos and IB customers
* In partnership with the HPEFS Office of the COO, proactively identifying and championing opportunities to improve HPEFS processes and tools for transacting HPE GreenLake deals and contract refresh opportunities
* Gaining a full understanding of the HPE GreenLake and Private Cloud solution roadmap, to identify opportunities for HPEFS to integrate into new solutions and services elements
* Evaluating market competition and recommending HPEFS competitive response
* Ensuring our GTM teams fully understand key HPE GreenLake and Private Cloud initiatives and HPEFS's role in them
* Positioning HPEFS value-add with HPE sellers, channel partners and SI's to drive tighter sales engagement and portfolio management.
* Leading and managing a virtual team across the geographic area to drive the business development activities and report on a regular basis the progress on growth.
* Developing and managing a monthly/quarterly scorecard which comprises all the key metrics for the GreenLake business including volume, pipeline, pricing ROE, FMV mix, product mix, portfolio, etc.
Education and Experience Required:
* 8+ years' experience in business development, product management, technical pre-sales or solution architect
* Advanced University degree preferable.
Knowledge and Skills:
* In-depth knowledge of the HPE GreenLake solution portfolio, underlying business model, and ecosystem
* In-depth knowledge of the HPEFS GTM and operational model for HPE GreenLake, including strong financial acumen and understanding of the embedded lease model
* Proven ability to lead teams to achieve results, exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames.
* Demonstrated proficiency in establishing collaborative and productive relationships with senior level executives and presenting to and influencing senior level decision making.
* Proficient in utilizing data and digital tools to identify and evaluate new opportunities, inform decision-making, manage projects, and track and report results.
* Highly developed project/program management and change management skills. Solid understanding of business planning methods and business acumen.
* Possess a growth mindset.
* Experience integrating financial solutions into broader business unit strategies or GTM initiatives.
* Ability to represent HPEFS at all levels of the HPE Global Sales, Operations, and Hybrid Cloud organizations. Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and executive leaders.
* Strategic thinking/planning.
* Financially savvy and able to present HPEFS and HPE GreenLake value propositions to key internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with global business practices and driving consistent experience across regions.
