A busy and well-established general practice firm is seeking a Legal Executive / Legal Secretary to join its Litigation Department, with the opportunity to gain experience across other areas of the practice. This role offers hands-on exposure to litigation as well as broader legal work, including assisting with Land Direct queries and supporting solicitors across multiple departments.
Please note: This role is fully on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Typing correspondence, including letters and emails, from dictation
* Copying, compiling, and preparing Counsel briefs
* Opening, maintaining, and organising both digital and physical files
* Managing invoicing and providing general administrative support
* Assisting solicitors in both litigation and general practice matters
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy legal practice
* Strong ability to manage a high volume of work and prioritise effectively
* Excellent organisational skills with proficiency in case management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and brief-building tools
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A strong team player who can also work independently when needed
