Design Build Search is seeking aSite Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading civil contractor with an upcoming project based in Kilkenny. The selected candidate will be focusedon utilities and public realm projects.. Responsibilities Support the Project Manager and site team in the successful delivery of works on site Interpret technical drawings and project specifications to guide construction activities Undertake accurate setting-out duties using GPS and Total Station equipment Ensure all work is carried out in line with company quality standards Participate in site meetings, helping to resolve technical issues as they arise Keep detailed and accurate records of site activities and progress Promote and monitor adherence to Health & Safety policies on site Provide regular updates and reports to senior project staff Requirements Previous experience in a Site Engineer position, ideally within utilities or public realm projects Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Competent in AutoCAD, MS Project, and standard IT systems Practical experience with setting-out equipment including GPS and Total Station Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively Detail-oriented with a consistent approach to documentation Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Whats on Offer A competitive remuneration package, reflective of experience Access to a range of company benefits Opportunities for career advancement within a growing business A supportive working environment focused on teamwork and development Skills: Site Engineer
