Job Description
Our client are seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
The role involves both electrical and mechanical support within a regulated medical device production environment, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
This is an on-site and shift-based role.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and troubleshoot to repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems on automated production equipment
Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
Work closely with engineers, production, and quality teams
Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and company procedures
Ensure all work complies with regulatory and safety standards
Identify and order spare parts
Key Requirements
Mechanical maintenance skills
Hands-on experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting
Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial environment
Knowledge of GMP and regulated environments
Experience with automated and high-speed production equipment
Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, drives is advantageous.
